Pro-Voter Approved Candidates

Elected representatives must be accountable to the constituents they serve and act in their interests.

Voters Not Politicians volunteers and staff set up a process to identify pro-democracy, pro-voter candidates who share our commitment to a government that reflects the will of the people, and who will make strengthening and protecting our democracy a priority.

2026 Pro-Voter Candidates

Candidates are invited to fill out this questionnaire that asks about common sense voting access, ethics and transparency, and campaign finance reforms. Questionnaire responses will be examined to determine if candidates’ values align with those of Voters Not Politicians. We will publish all candidate responses once approvals have been announced.

Other considerations for approval for all candidates include public statements and actions, campaign viability, and, in the case of incumbent candidates, voting records on issues related to democracy and structural democracy reform.
