Voters Not Politicians is once again launching MichiganEarlyVote.com, an easily navigable, free website designed to let voters find their municipal drop box and early voting location(s) with just a few clicks.
This internship is almost solely focused on verifying drop box locations, early voting sites, and other associated data to ensure 100% accuracy for voters using the tool.
Voters Not Politicians (VNP) is an exciting, volunteer-driven, nonpartisan nonprofit organization whose mission is to strengthen democracy in Michigan through effective citizen action. VNP is made up of thousands of everyday Michiganders who united to end gerrymandering in Michigan in 2018 and to expand voting access in 2022. We continue to make structural changes to ensure that our elected officials work for the people, including efforts to advance campaign finance reform in Michigan, opposing anti-voter policies, and providing critical support and resources for voters around election periods.
Length of time: September 1st, 2026 through October 15th, 2026
15-20 hours per week
Fully remote
Focus of work will be on quality assurance of data before it is added to the Michigan EarlyVote.com search tool. Work will include:
Compensation: Stipend of $2,000/month
