Last month we announced the kick off of our fall field plan and we have hit the ground running. We started things off with an Anti-Corruption Webinar to discuss the ins and outs of our legislative goals and took to the doors in Benton Harbor and Wyoming to ensure elected officials hear from their constituents about how important this legislation is.
We’re hearing from Michigan voters how important anti-corruption legislation is in Michigan, but we still need your help to make sure these critical changes happen in Michigan!
We only have a few weeks left this year to implement critical ethics reform in the Michigan Legislature including…
- expanding FOIA to include the governor’s office and the legislature
- combining financial disclosure with strong conflicts-of-interest rules
- banning lobbyist gifts

Even though we have a pro-voter majority in the House and Senate, we urgently need your help to connect voters to their elected officials and tell them to pass good government ethics reforms before the end of 2023.The legislature has a lot of priorities to tackle this session, so it’s up to Voters Not Politicians volunteers like you to make sure voters’ can make their voices heard and their anti-corruption priorities known.
Join us for an upcoming group canvass in a priority district near you! These events are one-time group canvassing events. We’ll bring the snacks and training, you only need to bring support for good government reform and comfy shoes. Sign up at the links below.
