Commission Finishes State House Map, Goes Forward with Fink-Bressack

The commission has finished drawing and reconciling State House districts this afternoon, completing the first draft of district maps along with the State Senate and Congressional district maps. However, the commission will return to the Senate and Congressional maps to address population deviations. All of the draft district plans can be found here.

The commission had also voted to extend a contract to Fink-Bressack for Local Counsel after an interview with the firm. Fink-Bressack was the only firm that the commission had interviewed, as it was also the only firm out of three that was qualified from the RFP.
