As the Commission continues to draft State House Districts in the Southeast, Southwest, and South Central regions of Michigan, they have also voted to extend a formal invitation to bid on the Local Counsel Request for Proposals (RFP). This invitation will be sent to a list of potential vendors with offices in Michigan, however, other Michigan law firms are also able to apply.
Interested law firms will have until September 3rd to respond to the RFP. The same subcommittee that has evaluated responses to the Litigation Counsel RFP will also evaluate responses to the Local Counsel RFP, which includes Commissioners Clark, Curry, Lett, and Witjes.
