Buck Baker - Board Treasurer

Buck has more than 30 years experience in senior Strategic Planning and Human Resources positions with mid-sized and large companies in manufacturing and financial services.  Most recently, Buck was the Director of Human Resources for Yazaki North America, With a North American workforce of 80,000 employees,  and its regional headquarters in Canton, MI, Yazaki is the leading global provider of automotive wire harnesses.   He previously served as the Vice President of Strategic Planning for Kelly Services.  He has a B.A. Cum Laude, from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, with a focus on Marketing and Planning.   

Buck’s volunteer work has focused on education, policy, and politics.  He served from 2008 to 2018 on the Roeper School Board of the Roeper School, most recently as Board Chair from 2014 – 2018.   He has participated in political campaigns in Maryland, New York and Michigan.  He is married, with two sons, and lives in Birmingham.
