The commission has confirmed the schedule for the second round of public hearings planned for the month of October. There will be nine hearings in total across the state. During this round, the commission will be offering two sessions at each public hearing for Michigan residents to give testimony, in the afternoon from 1 PM to 3:30 PM, and in the evening from 5 PM to 8 PM. For each time slot, doors will open half an hour before the hearing begins. The dates and locations of the public hearings are as follows:

In addition to more time for citizens to give testimony, there will also be Public Comment Portal Stations at each hearing site so that citizens can provide direct feedback regarding the proposed draft maps to the Commission.
