No one should have to put their life at risk to exercise their fundamental right to vote. We’re pleased to see that the House Democratic Caucus supports mailing every voter a ballot – not just an absentee ballot application – with a postage paid return envelope. We urge our legislature to act now to get a ballot in every voters’ mailbox for the August and November elections. During the COVID-19 pandemic, mailed ballots will save lives.
