Commissioner Rebecca Szetela (N) was voted to become Chair of the Commission during a vote at today’s meeting, M.C. Rothhorn (D) being voted as Vice-Chair. Szetela was previously Vice-Chair of the Commission, with Commissioner Brittini Kellom (D) as Chair.
The Commission also continued drawing State Senate districts in Southeast Michigan, including Eastern Detroit communities such as East English Village, Cornerstone, and Morningside, the Grosse Pointes, and parts of Macomb County.
