The Michigan Supreme Court:
- Has the highest legal authority in the state
- Has recently decided whether or not citizen-initiated ballot proposals could be placed on the ballot for voters to weigh in
- Directly impacts voting rights, civil rights, disability rights, privacy rights, and more
- Has TWO seats up for election in 2024
