2022 VNP Endorsements

Elected representatives must be accountable to the constituents they serve and act in their interests.

Voters Not Politicians volunteers and staff identified pro-voter candidates who share our commitment to a government that reflects the will of the people, and who will make strengthening and protecting our democracy a priority.

An endorsement questionnaire that asks about voting access and common-sense ethics and transparency reform was sent to all candidates for the Michigan legislature.

Questionnaire responses were examined to determine if candidates' values align with those of Voters Not Politicians.

Other considerations for endorsement include public statements and actions, and, in the case of incumbent candidates, voting records on issues such as voting access and structural democracy reform.
